A degree in Civil Engineering enables me to achieve my goals and also gives me an opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Five years from now, I want to become a project manager of a construction project. As a project manager, my primary goals are managing people, set budgets, and making decisions of all kinds. I also want to speak English fluently so I can work with people from different countries.
My name is Viet and I am from Binh Dinh province/Vietnam. I am currently studying Finance and Economics at Van Lang University. My house is the place where I love the best. It’s located in Phuc Tho District,Ha Noi City. My house is quite wide, its area is approximately 90 square metres. There is a garden in front of my house. The garden brings to my house a natural and peaceful atmosphere. My house has 2 floors and one terrace. Its surface is painted by green and looks very bright and charming. On the first floor, there are three rooms: a living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom. When you come in, the first room you can see is the living-room where my family welcomes guests and relaxes. An ancient sofa and a tea-table with a tea tray on it are arranged quite tidily in the middle of the room. Next to the living room is the kitchen where I love so much because I really cooking for my family. And behind the kitchen is the bathroom, the bathroom are quite clean wide room and very modern. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms: my son’s bedroom and ourS (có “s” đấy nhé. Đại từ sở hữu, ý là our bedroom). There are two windows in each bed room, it provide the light for the room and make the room to be more airy. Especially, my bedroom is quiet, it is an advantage for me when I prepare lessons plan. And another place in my house is the terrace. It has a balcony where my family often sits there to see the sunset and stars in the sky at night. I love my house so much.
My house is in the countryside. It is surrounded by many green trees. In front of my house is a large yard. There are some roses in the yard. Behind my house, there is a very big garden. My grandparents often grow the vegetables and some star-fruit trees. There is a cowshed to the left of the garden. There are two cows in the cowshed. To the left of the house, there is a well. My grandpa use the water in the well to water the vegetables. To the right of the house, there is a river. Every weekend, I sometimes go fishing with my friends. There are five rooms in the house. My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my brother and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. Mỗi mùa hè về, mình có cơ hội đi du lịch biết bao nơi, tận hưởng những thứ mà chỉ mùa hè mới mang đến. Địa điểm mà mình yêu thích nhất là bãi biển đầy nắng đầy gió.
