Making association in pictures or with other words. Looking at pictures you will able to guess the words immediately and you never forget it. Otherwise, you learn the new words by connecting these words with their synonyms and antonyms, so you can learn many words.
The other way of learning vocabulary is reading. The context of a new word in a sentence or story is often enough for you to guess the meaning. Choose books that you find quite easy to read and read sentences, paragraphs, stories,... time and again help you learn the new word and to use in your own speaking and writing. English is one of the most languages in the world that everyone want to learn. Because it is help in our life in the future: about job, your economy (the money), study abroad and comunicate with foreigners. I also learn English, but each of learners learns in the different ways. With me, I learn word by making a list and put into it the meanings of new words in my mother tongue. After that, I learn my heart, but I don't learn all words. In the first day, I learn a half of it. The next day , I learn the rest and I don't forget to revise a half of words that I learned yesterday. Besides, I sometimes listen to English music, try to translate and understand it, wacth some foreign movies; I read more books. If I meet the new words I come across, i will highlight it, write the meaning next to that word in order to help me remember vocabulary better. That is my way to learn, improve English easier.
I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sticker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also stick glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

Em gái và tôi rất thích trang trí căn phòng với hình dán như: chuột mickey, gấu boo, mèo con, và vân vân. Ngoài ra, căn phòng được trang trí với màu hồng và xanh nước biển nên nó mang đến cảm giác ấm cúng và tươi mát khi bước vào phòng. Nhà tắm cũng ở trong phòng. Nó khá nhỏ những luôn sạch sẽ và thoải mái bởi chúng tôi dọn dẹp mỗi tuần. Bố đề nghị mua một cái bồn tắm, tuy nhiên chúng tôi không đồng ý bởi vì chúng tôi muốn tắm vòi hoa sen hơn là nằm trong bồn. Phòng ngủ là một nơi thư giãn sau một ngày học tập mệt mỏi, cho nên chúng tôi luôn dọn dẹp để nó luôn ngăn nắp.
Like a paradise, my room is the only place where I feel free, warm and comfotable for relaxing after a tiring day at school.
My room has simple design and everything looks neat and clear. It's a beautiful room because it is decorated by myself. I use bright color for the wall and blue ties to inspire an intimate feeling to the space. Besides, my room looks warm and airy with two huge windows on the two sides of the room. It's more lovely senery pictures and some lamps on the wall. I like the computer in my room most because it helps me a lot for my study.
In my house I like my room most, I myself can do everything in it. I'm the owner of my own space so I always try to keep it clear and neat.
My bedroom is one of the best places in my house there I have my private space. It’s the place where I usually relax and do whatever I want . There are a big closet hidden in the wall and a bright blue mastress with a sheet in my room. It is printed with full of light blue so I am like in the ocean in my bedroom. It is the reason why I love a sleeping time that I feel very cozy and comfortable after a long day. There is a corner for reading book with bookshelf and table next to the bed so I can enjoy reading books all the time. Sometimes I put on the table fresh flowers makes the room brighten. On the wall, I hang out nice pictures to have good mood. In other corner, I let some Teddy Bears and toys in a big basket to remind me about the sweet childhood.
My bedroom is the best thing God gave me. I really adore my Room and I’m thankful for I have it “Thanks God”.

Last traditional Lunar New Year, my family organized a trip to Cambodia, and it was an exciting trip. We did not go by airway; instead we chose to go by long-distance bus. After about 10 hours of sitting in the bus, we finally came to Xa Xia border which was located right next to Ha Tien. It was my first time out of the Vietnamese territory, and the religious atmosphere at Cambodia made me feel very impressed. After crossing the border, we spent about 3 more hours on the bus before reaching a small coastal province called Sihanouk. My parents were tired after a long trip, so they decided to have a rest at the hotel. However, my sister and I spent the entire afternoon wandering in the local markets. We bought a lot of interesting things, and what I most was the delicious durian. The atmosphere there was hotter than Vietnam, so we could only comfortably go sightseeing when the sun completely disappeared. Right in the center of the town is a giant golden lion statue - Sihanouk's symbol, and I noed that almost every major building here has a casino. Early in the next morning we boarded the ship to move to Korong Salem Island, and this was one of the most famous islands in Cambodia. After about 45 minutes on the boat, Korong Island appeared as a paradise beach with white sand and green coconut palms. The water there was crystal clear and as calm as a swimming pool. We spent a whole day swimming and playing along the beach, and we only had lunch when the sun began to shine brightly. The next day we visited some famous pagodas, and the trip ended late at night. Although I had to travel for a long way, but I feel this trip was worth it. Experiencing a new culture in Cambodia is a really exciting thing, and I hope I have opportunity to visit more countries.

Over time we live and develop, each of us will choose a unique habit. My friends have a habit of playing games on the weekends. Personally, I have a habit of reading in my free time every day. This habit of mine is formed from the shape of my hobby. Since childhood I have enjoyed reading. The types of books that I often read are books about life, manners, and economics. Ever since I could read, I have always enjoyed reading. However, when I was a kid, the kind of books I read were usually comic books. Currently, studying time is quite busy so I don’t have a fixed time for reading. However, whenever I have time I will read. I usually carry a book that I am half-reading in my bag. This ensures I can read ns anywhere and at any suitable time. I think the habit of reading has helped me improve myself a lot. In the future I will keep this useful habit. If you are free, you can practice reading habits like me.

Spring has long been called the season of the festivals. Especially in some Asia countries including Vietnam, at this time there are many big and small festivals taken place all over the country. First of all, Tet is the most important event of our country. It just for a week but is well-received and well prepared. Everyone is looking forward to Tet, they go shopping for the New Year from December twenty one, prepare some items such as bonsai, candy, clothes, ..... This is a chance for them to remember their ancestors, spend time together, give each other best wishes, ... Besides Tet, there are many other festivals in the spring. Many people tend go to pagodas, temples, find the ancient land to pray for the family healthy and peaceful. Some families book themselves a short vacation, go to the famous sightseeing tours, recharge energy for a new year. Maybe spring makes people excited and happy because it has so many festivals. Thus, when talk about spring, people often think of joy, excitement.
